PWInsider have reported that WWE's attorneys have been approached by Major League Wrestling's attorneys in response to some apparent contract tampering involving their talents.

MLW have cited evidence of Vince McMahon's company attempting to interfere with 'multiple talents' within the MLW promotion. They now appear to be ready to go to court if the incidents continue in this manner.

MLW talents are well known for being able to ply their trade in multiple different promotions and companies, however the one they are currently categorically forbidden to play ball with is WWE.

WWE already have well established relationships with various independent companies such as Progress and ICW. Yet, any chance of forging such a deal with MLW could be about to hit the skids if this report is proved to be true.

Davey Boy Smith Jr, - the company's recent MLW Crocket Cup winner - did appear on WWE's The Bump recently alongside his former Hart stable mates Tyson Kidd and Natalya, yet this was reportedly not the specific incident referred to.

Could WWE be trying to head hunt various MLW talents such as Smith Jr. and his tag partner Brian Pillman Jr?
