Shane McMahon vs. Braun Strowman just got a new stip for WrestleMania 37.

Braun Strowman's match with Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 37 will now be contested inside a steel cage.

WWE announced the fresh stipulation on Monday night. The story, naturally, is that Shane-O now has nowhere left to run after weeks of calling "B...B...B...B...Braun" the most "stupid" wrestler he's ever met. The company claim that neither Elias nor Jaxson Ryker will be a factor when the match goes down on Saturday 10 April too.

That's probably not true - the heels will find a way to get involved. They always do.

Nobody will be shocked if McMahon performs one of his trademark daredevil stunts during the match either. Shane seems to enjoy big bumps, and a steel cage bout is perfect for his brand of wrestling. Maybe an elbow drop off the top of the cage through an announce table will be on the cards after the match is done?

It's possible.

It's also worth noting that this is a sizeable step down for Braun from 'Mania 36. Last year, he replaced Roman Reigns against Goldberg and beat the ex-WCW legend to become WWE's new Universal Champion.
