WWE Adds New Title Match To Sunday's Royal Rumble 2021 Card
Updated WWE Royal Rumble 2021 card after last night's episode of SmackDown.
WWE has added another title match to Sunday's Royal Rumble 2021 card.
The company announced on last night's episode of SmackDown that Carmella will challenge Sasha Banks for the SmackDown Women's Title on the pay-per-view. This is 'Mella's second crack at the belt since Banks became champion - she previously lost by submission at TLC late-last year.
Below is the full, updated line up for this weekend's show.
30-man Royal Rumble match
30-woman Royal Rumble match
Women's Tag-Team Titles: Charlotte Flair and Asuka (c) vs. Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax
Universal Title 'Last Man Standing' Match: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Kevin Owens
WWE Title: Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Goldberg
SmackDown Women's Title: Sasha Banks (c) vs. Carmella
That's six bouts in total, but WWE might not stop there. The promotion might tack on a United States Title showdown between reigning champ Bobby Lashley and Riddle, or add in a last-minute Intercontinental Title defence for Big E.
There's also always a chance that Carmella will rock up as an entrant in the 30-women Rumble if she loses to Sasha again. Alternatively, maybe Banks will drop the title and enter the match herself.
