What was already shaping up to be a busy day for pro wrestling fans has just gotten even busier, as WWE will now be running up against AEW on Sunday, June 28th.

That June 28th date is not just the date of Forbidden Door, but also the same date as TNA Slammiversary. And now, it's been announced that NXT will be running its Great American Bash PLE on that date.

Of course, WWE and TNA have a working relationship these days, and Slammiversary will actually be airing at 3pm ET, meaning that the TNA PPV won't be running directly up against either Great American Bash or Forbidden Door. However, Great American Bash and Forbidden Door will seemingly go head-to-head, with the NXT event starting at 7pm ET, and Forbidden Door currently listed on Ticketmaster as likewise starting at 7pm ET.

What was once a joint AEW and NJPW production, Forbidden Door these days also has involvement from CMLL and STARDOM, not to mention the potential for Ring of Honor names to be a part of the PPV, too. For Great American Bash 2026, that will be the first NXT PLE to air on The CW as part of the deal between WWE and CW that came into play earlier this year.

If NXT Great American Bash, Forbidden Door, and TNA Slammiversary aren't enough wrestling action for you during that particular weekend, there's also the small matter of WWE Night of Champions taking place from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia's Kingdom Arena on Saturday, June 27th - the day before those three events.
