WWE's Montel Vontavious Porter and AEW's Chris Jericho reportedly got involved in a "tense situation" at a hotel both were staying at after this week's AEW Dynamite.

Per Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, the two almost came to blows after the show due to historic issues between them. He said;

After the 5/18 show in Houston, there was a confrontation in the hotel the wrestlers were stating at between Chris Jericho and MVP at about 1am after the Dynamite tapings. Something that I'm not clear of happened 18 months ago where they had a falling out. Jericho was talking to Matt Hardy and MVP shows up. Most people didn't know what was up and thought he was kidding around until it became clear he wasn't kidding. Nothing bad happened even though it was a tense situation. Jericho did tell him that he doesn't fight jobbers when he got in the elevator ad MVP was screaming it in the lobby.

There was no further clarity offered about what exactly might have been behind the "falling out", nor if anything was resolved after the fact. It doesn't sound like the story either will want to cover in future chats/podcasts/etc, but keep it here for any updates to this breaking drama.
