WWE AJ Styles Merchandise Is Already Sold Out

A good start for Styles.

WWE have sold out of AJ Styles merchandise, with WWE Shop stating Styles' t-shirt won't be back in stock until February 26. The merchandise only became available on Sunday night, when The Phenomenal One made his WWE debut. This is great news for Styles' WWE career, as merchandise sales are one of the important measuring sticks of wrestler popularity. As long as he's making the company money, he's going to get a decent push. However, it is also worth bearing in mind that WWE may not have printed many shirts to begin with. As a new wrestler, it isn't like they were going to stock a load of Styles merchandise right from the get-go. The quick sell out could just reflect WWE not knowing how popular he'd be. The clear demand now shows Styles could potentially become a player and shift a lot of merchandise for Vince's empire. The t-shirts available were plain black with "AJ" as the front logo and "I am phenomenal" on the back. They were available in three varieties - men, women, and youth. All of them sold out, despite being fairly generic and uninspired in their design. The late February date for replenishment is surprising, given that it can't be too hard to print and ship some basic shirts. Perhaps the new stock will come in sooner, with the date being more of a 'worst case scenario' guide.
