Attendance: 18,853 I may be the only person out there that hated the main event of Shawn Michaels Vs Bret Hart in a 60 Minute Iron Man Match but I get why it's such an important moment in the career of Michaels and why many purists hold it in such high regard. Having a match run an hour in even the mid 90's though with no pins or submissions until 'over time' was way too risky and in my opinion not worth the wait. In fairness though the main event was probably the strongest match of the nights with only 6 other matches taking place including The Undertaker over Diesel, Roddy Piper over Goldust and Stone Cold Steve Austin over Savio Vega. Perhaps the biggest moment of the night though came when the future Triple H (then Hunter Hearst Helmsley) was defeated in a little over 90 seconds by a returning Ultimate Warrior in a ridiculous
squash that is best forgotten. It would certainly be interesting to see those two in a ring together these days. Can you imagine?
