WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Dec 20)

Kane sells his wrestling soul to a giraffe.

You know what? Raw was pretty good this week. Now, all things considered, I don€™t really want Roman Reigns as WWE Champion. You might not want him as champ either, but the way they went about it was solid. It€™s too bad we had to sit through so much sufferin succotash, Superman Punches and beanstalk stories to get there. But it€™s done. Hopefully he rises to the occasion and can justify his spot, and if not, then Vince can get it out of his system once and for all. The most ridiculous line of the week belongs to Jerry Lawler who claimed on SmackDown €œI don€™t know if I€™ve ever seen the WWE Universe as jacked as they were Monday night to see Roman Reigns with that championship on his shoulder!€ Jerry, you were there for Steve Austin and The Rock at their peaks, so let€™s take it back a bit. Overhyping the man like that will lead to backlash. TNA sputtered to an end on Destination America, with a new beginning (the 17th one so far) on POP TV. TLC was a good show, but imagine how much better the product would be if the creative team was as talented as the wrestlers. And NXT€™s special once again showed that the best kind of wrestling is the one with the least amount of sports entertainment involved. But let€™s now waste anymore time. Let's dive on in as we Pop-up Powerbomb our way through WWE and TNA€™s worst of the week!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
