Well that was fast. The whole Rising thing now seems like a waste of time! On April 10, Drew Galloway began a revolution, a revolution composed of people that were released from WWE contracts in 2014. Why he didnt bring in Jinder Mahal, Teddy Long and The Great Khali we may never know. Perhaps things would have turned out differently. But anyway, The Rising was born a couple months ago and this week they met their abrupt end when they lost a loser must disband match to the Beat Down Clan. If TNA is going to turn this thing around before the end of September, then they need some stars to get over. A cool stable has worked to create momentum for a show in the past, but the company either gave up on the group or had no idea what to do with them. Their whole mission statement was vague, what exactly were we supposed to stand up for again? Wrestling? And we never got to know who Eli Drake or Myka are, and why they joined the cause. Hopefully there was a good reason for the group going their separate ways, and well find out why soon. Also, my condolences to anyone who bought one of the three different designs of the stables shirt.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
