WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Nov 29)
WWE brings back Anonymous GM instead of delivering Sting. Way to know your audience...
WWE gave us a big turkey this week. Not the good kind that you eat at Thanksgiving, but a bona fide terrible leftover turkey of a Raw. Was it the worst episode of the year? Possibly. If nothing else, it was the biggest letdown of the year. Survivor Series ended with a great match and a hot angle, the next night was bursting with filler, bad comedy and potentially the worst cliffhanger in the history of television! But this is a time to be thankful, so hey, it was really cool to see Sting in a WWE ring. However, it was also bittersweet in a way. During the Monday Night War, seeing talent jump from WCW to WWF and vice versa was one of the most exciting things to see. Then WCW went out of business, and we had big names trickle in one-by-one like DDP, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, and Goldberg. Sting was the lone holdout (and Disco Inferno). Now, there's no one left. TNA is a fraction of the size of WWE, and if their talent came in they'd change from Bobby Roode to Roderick Bobby, and A.J. Styles to James Allen Smith. Simply, WWE wouldn't acknowledge their past history. It's the end of an era in a way. Well, now I'm sad. That wasn't what I set out to do. But it's time to get happy (or more depressed depending on how you think about it!) And Stinger Splash our way into wrestling's worst of the week!
