Bray Wyatt challenging Braun Strowman for the Universal Title has been made official for WWE's Money In The Bank 2020 pay-per-view on 10 May.

The company announced the match during Friday's episode of SmackDown. Curiously though, Bray wasn't present in person, and didn't actually even appear at all on the broadcast.

Instead, Braun was a guest alongside Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross on 'A Moment Of Bliss' and opened a gift to reveal his old 'Black Sheep' mask from ye olde Wyatt Family days. Then, a shocked Strowman heard Bray's creepy laugh bellow over the sound system.

The match is on, but the mask isn't.

It's unclear at this time exactly which character Bray will work as on the show, though he is shown in WWE's graphics as himself - there's no sign of 'Fiend' gimmick quite yet. That might change before the pay-per-view to give him more of a menace going on.

WWE must be careful not to completely spoil the 'Fiend' character by letting Braun squash him however. That persona is already reeling from a senseless defeat at the hands of Goldberg in Saudi Arabia several months ago.
