WWE Announces Liv Morgan Is Injured

The latest on Liv Morgan following Becky Lynch's WWE Raw attack this week.

Liv Morgan is now "injured" as part of her ongoing feud with Becky Lynch.

It was stated on this week's episode of Raw Talk that Morgan had suffered a "deep bone bruise and a strained radial collateral ligament in her left arm." Shout-outs to whoever composed this tweet for getting their medical dictionary out first.

Lynch destroyed said limb on this week's episode of Raw, stomping it while it was trapped by the ring steps. This came following Liv issuing a Raw Women's Championship rematch challenge to Becky for Day 1 (1 January 2022). With Morgan in a weakened state, Lynch accepted, saying she was going home to relax while Liv would be icing her arm.

WWE has formally announced Morgan vs. Lynch II for the Day 1 pay-per-view, though it looks like the hurt arm will now factor into the story.

Morgan has been feuding with Lynch since earning Raw Women's Title contendership on Raw's 8 November episode. The duo clashed for the title on 6 December, with Becky cheating to retain her belt, thus giving Morgan grounds to request a rematch. The feud continues.
