WWE Announces Women's Elimination Chamber Participants
The winner faces Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 36.
WWE has announced the complete lineup for this year's women's Elimination Chamber match, with the winner going on to face Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch for her shiny red belt at WrestleMania 36.
As confirmed during last night's episode of Raw, the participants are Natalya, Liv Morgan, Shayna Baszler, Asuka, Ruby Riott, and Sarah Logan.
Baszler will likely head into the bout as a heavy betting favourite. 'The Queen of Spades' was in a similar position heading into this year's Royal Rumble, only to be thrown out by Charlotte Flair. Her WrestleMania showdown with Lynch looks a dead cert, however, with Baszler biting Becky bloody on last week's Raw, then following up with a verbal back-and-forth on last night's episode.
As far as the other participants go, Asuka has already lost two title fights to Lynch this year and is highly unlikely to secure a third while Natalya is a career midcarder. The former Riott Squad fill the rest of the spots, which is pretty interesting in and of itself, though it's hard to see any of them walking away with the victory.
Elimination Chamber goes down in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 8 March.
