Former WWE stars Dynamite Kid along with Hall of Famers Blackjack Mulligan and Koko B. Ware are the latest to attempt to sue WWE due to concussion-related health problems they have suffered from in recent years. The news comes after Vito Lograsso and former developmental talent Evan Singleton filed a similar class action lawsuit in March. WWE attorney Jerry McDevitt is trying to get a federal judge to block the lawsuits and has filed a motion in order to do so. The company filed the suit in US District Court in Connecticut (where WWE is based) on Monday, asking that all related litigation be moved to the state. WWE is also arguing that the current claims are both fraudulent and past the three-year statute of limitation on such claims, as per Connecticut law. Further to that, WWE is claiming that the former wrestlers are being exploited by their attorney, who is in their opinion misleading them by telling them that they can get a sizeable paycheck, similar to those issued in the $1bn NFL lawsuit. The attorney representing Dynamite Kid, Koko B. Ware, Vito, Blackjack Mulligan and others is Konstantine Kyros, who denies that he is exploiting his clients and is not trying to get them a big pay day, insisting that dozens of former WWE talent have retained his services and deserve their day in court due to their years of service to the company. Dynamite Kid, Koko B. Ware and Blackjack Mulligan have all sent letters to WWE stating their intention to sue and, if Kyros' claims are to be believed, more lawsuits will inevitably follow. Dynamite wrestled for the company between 1984-88 as a member of the British Bulldogs after years of working for New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Stampede and other promotions. He has been confined to a wheelchair since the late 90s and suffers from several other debilitating health issues. His chronic back injuries began developing before he went to WWE, according to his autobiography Pure Dynamite. Koko B. Ware was a midcard-level performer during the late 1980s and early 1990s and has made sporadic special appearances over the years. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009. Blackjack Mulligan wrestled for the WWE in the 1970s and 80s, most notably as a member of The Blackjacks tag team along with Jack Lanza. The duo were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2006. Mulligan ,real name Robert Windham, needs to use a wheelchair and claims that he suffers from constant nausea and memory issues. He suffered a heart attack on June 17th, 2015. His decision to sue WWE is especially interesting because his grandsons - Bo Dallas and Bray Wyatt - currently work for the company. Mulligan has also alleged that his son, Barry Windham, developed brain damage and drug issues due to his years in the ring.
