You could be seeing Sean 'X-Pac' Waltman on WWE NXT rather soon.

Shawn Michaels told the press during a recent NXT Deadline media call that he'd "jump all over" the chance to welcome his old D-Generation X buddy to WWE's third brand. In fact, HBK believes Waltman working with younger talent on the show would be hugely beneficial to everybody.

Selfishly, he'd also just like to see Waltman out there in-ring having some fun too. Michaels said that Sean "looked fantastic" the last time he saw him, so he doesn't think this would be some WWE charity case - 50-year old Waltman could still contribute in the right spots "here and there" (HBK's words).

Michaels did also say that he'd obviously have to run something like that by new WWE boss Triple H, but he doesn't see any reason why 'The Game' would say no. NXT is supposed to help develop future stars, so working with someone as experienced as X-Pac could be viewed as a valuable learning tool for the brand's roster.

Any NXT match would be Sean's first for WWE since 2002.
