There's a cloud hanging over Judgment Day at the moment. Rhea Ripley has been benched with a serious injury, Damian Priest is shaking his head at some of his stablemates, and it defo feels like the faction's run is close to an end. This is the perfect time to deploy a classic booking trick at Backlash then.

Finn Bálor, Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh should be banned from ringside for Priest's first PLE World Title defence vs. Jey Uso. WWE can always reveal the news during a quick backstage skit (perhaps as a power play from Raw GM Adam Pearce, who can bemoan not exclusively picking Damian during the Draft), then catch Judgment Day's reaction.

Priest vs. Uso would be better without all the distractions.

This is a proving ground situation for both guys. Jey is coming off a wonky brotherly battle vs. Jimmy at 'Mania, and Priest will be desperate to show Triple H that putting the World Title on him was the correct call. Give these men the chance to tear the house down.
