Speaking to RDS in Canada, former Universal Champion Kevin Owens has revealed that he suffered an ankle injury at WrestleMania 36.

Owens claimed that the injury - believed to be a sprain or small fracture - was a result of his epic dive spot in his match against Seth Rollins at the event. He'd later win the grudge match after nailing Rollins with a Stunner.

He also revealed in the interview that he would be undergoing an X-Ray to figure out how severe the injury actually was.

Owens hasn't been seen on WWE television since that match against Rollins. This is because the star has opted to stay at home with his family during the current global situation.

Praising WWE for allowing him to stay at home, Owens said, 'The great thing about WWE is that it doesn’t require us to be there if we don’t want to. This is also why in the last two weeks I have not been present because I preferred to be at home with my family.'

It finally looked like Owens was set for another decent push after his huge win over Rollins at the Show of Shows. Yet, if this ankle injury keeps him on the sidelines for the foreseeable future, we may have to wait a little while longer until we see 'KO' back in the main event on Monday Night Raw.
