Torrie Wilson wasn't allowed to mention a certain someone during her WWE HOF speech.

Torrie Wilson has revealed that she was banned from mentioning Sable's name during her 2019 WWE Hall Of Fame speech.

The company asked to see a draft of Torrie's speech, then asked her to remove Sable from the thing. Wilson told fans tuning into a Q&A session with The Asylum Wrestling Store on Facebook that this happened mere hours before she took to the stage for her induction.

WWE didn't give a firm reason for the deletion either, which left Wilson puzzled. Sable had been a huge part of Torrie's career story - the pair posed for Playboy magazine together in 2003, and had even shared an on-screen kiss at one point. Perhaps WWE chiefs didn't want any of that to come up during the speech.

That's a guess though.

Former Women's Champ Sable has been linked with a Hall Of Fame berth herself for many years. Wrestling fans haven't seen much of her since her last WWE run ended in 2004; Sable later married Brock Lesnar in 2006, but has stayed out of the public eye ever since.

Torrie says she had to scramble to plug a gap in her speech when WWE told her not to mention Sable by name.
