Shane McMahon added two matches to the WWE Battleground pay-per-view on last night's episode of SmackDown Live.

The blue brand commissioner booked a Fatal-5-Way match involving Tamina, Natalya, Charlotte Flair, Lana and Becky Lynch for the show as well as a grudge match between Shinsuke Nakamura and Baron Corbin.

The winner of the 5-Way will go on to challenge SmackDown Women's Champion Naomi for the title at SummerSlam. This probably means the pay-per-view won't include a Women's Title match, but there's still a chance Carmella could cash in her 'Miss. Money In The Bank' privileges on Naomi.

Corbin's unprovoked attack on Nakamura at the Money In The Bank event is why both men face off at Battleground. The pair were meant to have a match on SmackDown, but it was cancelled when Shinsuke ambushed his rival during Corbin's entrance.

Both these matches help beef out a card that includes WWE Champ Jinder Mahal vs. Randy Orton in a Punjabi Prison Match, AJ Styles vs. Kevin Owens for the United States Title, Rusev vs. John Cena in a Flag Match and The New Day challenging The Usos for the SmackDown Tag-Team Titles.
