It looks like Jordan Devlin has become the latest WWE wrestler to succumb to the injury bug.

The NXT Cruiserweight Champion posted the following to Twitter yesterday afternoon, confirming that he'd been forced to pull out of his scheduled PROGRESS Chapter 103 booking due to an elbow issue:-

That 'The Irish Ace' believes he'll be "fine in a week or so" is encouraging news, though it's a shame that he had to miss out on his PROGRESS booking. Devlin had been scheduled to team with countryman Scotty Davis against The WorkHorsemen of Anthony Henry and JD Drake on the show. He was replaced by indie veteran Eddie Kingston in the end, with the NWA Powerrr man and Davis scoring the victory.

Here's hoping Devlin's injury doesn't halt his momentum in WWE. The Irishman has emerged as a rising star this year, having bested Angel Garza, Isaiah Scott, and Travis Banks to become Cruiserweight Champion at Worlds Collide in January, and has already mounted a successful defence against former title-holder Lio Rush. Having been under the WWE umbrella for a few years now, it looks like Jordan is finally on the up in the promotion.
