6. Judgment Day 1998: Winning Light-Heavyweight Championship
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwZQav4gE8s Not many superstars win championship gold in their television debut matches, but Christian did just that at the Judgment Day: In Your House pay-per-view on October 18 in 1998, when he defeated Taka Michinoku for the WWF Light-Heavyweight Championship. This, of course, marked Christian's first title win in the WWE. Having debuted three weeks prior at the September pay-per-view, Breakdown: In Your House, in which he cost Edge a match against Owen Hart, Christian eventually convinced his 'brother' to join himself and Gangrel to form the group 'The Brood'. Christian's run as the Light-Heavyweight champion only lasted 30 days, as he lost the title to Gillberg on an edition of Monday Night Raw. The Brood, whose gimmick was that of vampires, would go on to feud with the Undertaker's Ministry of Darkness, either side of a brief period of being a part of the stable. Come mid 1999, Edge & Christian broke away from Gangrel, dropping their vampire gimmick in the process, and feuded with Gangrel's latest allies, the Hardy Boyz a.k.a 'The New Brood.' Edge & Christian lost a memorable tag team ladder match to the Hardys at the October 1999 pay-per-view No Mercy, a match which would revolutionise the tag team division.
