WWE Clash Of Champions 2016: 10 Awesome Moments

Chris Jericho was heavily involved in the final few moments of the WWE Universal Title headliner at Clash Of Champions. There to look out for his buddy Kevin Owens, the Canadian was a near-constant distraction for Seth Rollins to contend with. As things roared towards a conclusion, he wasn't alone in that respect.

Following a quick referee bump, Stephanie McMahon sent another official out into the fray. Eventually, this led to Rollins getting pinned by Owens, a result which was met with great fanfare from the live Indianapolis audience. Even though he's a heel (and a darn good one), the people just adore KO.

Looking at things from a standpoint of protecting the WWE Universal Title, it's awesome that Owens is still champion. After the Finn Balor injury and everything else that has gone on in the title's short life span to date, it badly needs some stability.

Kevin Owens is the kind of reliable champion the Universal Title needs. Rollins is popular for different reasons right now, but he didn't need the strap.
