WWE Clash Of Champions 2019: 10 Things That Must Happen
2. The 'Fiend' Strikes Hard
Being brutally honest, there's next-to-no genuine significance in Seth Rollins vs. Braun Strowman as a one-on-one match at the moment. They're both babyfaces for a start, and it's unlikely WWE will write a Rollins title loss so soon after his 'Beast' slaying performance at SummerSlam anyway.
That's why the Universal Title clash shouldn't headline this pay-per-view, and it's why Bray Wyatt must show face to ramp up some excitement.
Any fan arguing that Wyatt's 'Fiend' doesn't need to be involved in the title picture (this guy is one of them) is powerless to stop WWE's march towards exactly that. Bray has been talking about Seth and Braun for a while in promos, and he's the kind of character ideal for framing Hell In A Cell's fiery theme next month.
So, it's seemingly written in the stars. The 'Fiend' will shut down the power and attack both Braun and Seth this coming Sunday. If he does, WWE need to promise fans that they won't immediately announce a Triple Threat Cell bout 24 hours later on Raw.
They should let this one play out for a bit.
