WWE.com Teasing New Japan Invasion With AJ Styles & Bullet Club

WWE already setting the scene for an invasion?

WWE are acknowledging the rumours that they are about to sign AJ Styles and other top New Japan talent. In an unprecedented move, WWE.com ran a front page splash with the image above and the headlines "Nakamura, Bullet Club to WWE?" and "Is a talent invasion on its way to WWE." For the company to comment on insider rumours is a massive indication that the New Japan stars are indeed coming in. The WWE.com story is already laying the narrative, explaining the Bullet Club and their association with Finn Balor. The likeliest guess right now would be that a Balor Club angle is executed, with Balor and the New Japan stars going to Raw. Putting over the importance of the signings, WWE's website states "The addition of Styles, Nakamura, Anderson and Gallows would represent one of the most significant bulk talent acquisitions in WWE history." WWE.com did ask Triple H for comment, but he declined to say anything at this time. The fact WWE and The Game even acknowledged the rumours is huge. Despite all of this buzz, fans shouldn't get their hopes up too much in relation to how the new "Balor Club" will be booked. Vince McMahon has little to do with WWE.com, and while the website is putting over the new signings, Vince most likely has little idea of who the Bullet Club are or what they have done.
