WWE Confirms Both Money In The Bank Matches Will Happen SIMULTANEOUSLY
It's crazy. It's unique. It's official!
WWE confirmed on this week's episode of SmackDown that both the men's and women's Money In The Bank ladder matches will take place at the same time.
Maybe those rumours about Vince McMahon starting to lose it aren't just rumours after all.
It's definitely a fun concept though. WWE will run two MITB matches simultaneously for the first time in history, and that means no less than 12 male and female superstars will be running around the place taking bumps, performing stunts and vying to grab those green and white briefcases.
This has the potential to be either the greatest thing ever, and a move that'll take the stipulation to new heights (literally), or the biggest disaster since TNA tried that Reverse Battle Royal thing. OK, maybe not that bad.
Both matches will begin on the ground floor of WWE headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut and won't end until both cases have been snagged high above the roof of HQ. Expect some big spots, at least one tease for a wrestler being thrown off the side of the building and a lot of cinematic shenanigans.
This is wild.
