WWE Confirms Brock Lesnar Fighting At UFC 200!

The Beast is back in the octagon.

During the pay-per-view broadcast of UFC 199, headlined by a middleweight championship featuring Luke Rockhold defending against MIchael Bisping, the mixed martial arts organization ran a short promo video that confirmed rumor that began to spread like wildfire earlier in the day.

The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer tweeted that WWE approved the fight, but other details have yet to be released, including who his opponent will be. As of right now there hasn't been any indication who the former UFC heavyweight champion will square off with, but heavy-handed striker Mark Hunt seems like a logical choice.

The word is also that Brock will continue to remain with WWE and will be making an appearance at SummerSlam, so as of now this is an unprecedented level of cooperation between two companies who clearly realize the value Lesnar brings to the table.

For a promotion that has been suffering to find new stars among their massive roster, the return of Brock Lesnar couldn't have come at a better time, especially considering the state of flux the organization's supercard was in just a few short weeks ago.

We'll bring you additional details including who Lesnar's opponent will be the moment they become available. This summer just became a lot more interesting.
