Self Made Pro is reporting that sources within WWE suggest there will be a huge Hell In A Cell encounter between rivals Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu at WrestleMania 42 next month.

The warring pair duelled throughout last week's episode of SmackDown. McIntyre kicked off the show by attacking Fatu on top of his rental car, then he cut a promo on GM Nick Aldis. That prompted the 'Samoan Werewolf' to race out into the arena and put Drew through the announce desk.

Their hijinks didn't stop there; McIntyre and Fatu continued to scrap in select segments throughout the night. Then, to cap things off, Aldis and other officials caught wind of the heel and babyface battling atop some scaffolding outside the arena. Cameras sprinted to the scene just in time to catch both men falling to their doom.

To. Their. Doom.

Now, this is expected to peak inside the fearsome Cell. WWE hasn't booked a HIAC match since McIntyre wrestled CM Punk inside the structure back at Bad Blood on 5 October 2024. That turned out to be one of the best examples of the famous gimmick ever, so expectations would surely be high for Drew vs. Fatu.

McIntyre is likely to take some time off from SmackDown/WWE TV after 'Mania 42. He'll be filming scenes for a new Highlander flick, so there's a solid chance Jacob takes the win here and motors into the main event scene after April's weekend-long PLE.

Bring on that 'the Cell is lowering' ominous music.
