WWE Creative Power Struggle: Bruce Prichard Leaving Writers In The Dark?

Bruce Prichard & Vince McMahon at the centre of WWE's latest creative logjam?

A new report from Ringside News suggests that WWE's creative process is becoming increasingly confusing, as Raw writers are no longer being provided notes from meetings with Vince McMahon.

This means that members of the creative team who do not attend a given meeting are left "in the dark" and "out of the loop" as to what, exactly, what down. If they want to know what happened in the meeting, they have to be there.

The report states that this "has Bruce Prichard's fingerprints all over it." One quoted source calls it a "power grab" on the Raw and SmackDown Executive Director's behalf:-

“I don’t know why Bruce would have most of the staff operate in the dark, but it seems like another power grab to me.”

Another source remarked that McMahon needs to "come to his senses" on the situation as it has created a tricky situation backstage. Even though WWE is just weeks away from WrestleMania 37, and this is typically one of the year's most important creative periods, writing staff are falling out of the loop as a result of the company's new policy.
