The Bar wobbled when moving from Raw to SmackDown last spring. Suddenly, the chemistry Sheamus and Cesaro had built up was eradicated by comedy spots and a worry WWE might split them just for the sake of it. Those fears have been set aside now both are SmackDown Tag Champs and backed by Big Show.

Few matches screamed house show fodder more than The Bar vs. The New Day at Crown Jewel, but there was a minor question mark over it. Would WWE book a title change so the show had one (rather than a title coronation like the Universal Title picture was)? Or, would they stick by a team who have purred in the background for two years now.

The answer: 'Da Bar!

It was the right call to have Sheamus and Cesaro beat New Day in Saudi. Now, WWE's big job is finding another team who can go up against The Bar credibly. The Usos fit, but there isn't much depth beyond that. SmackDown could do with a few fresh teams to pad out the ranks.
