WWE Delay Uploading WCW Thunder To The Network

We'll have to wait for that extra WCW fix on the Network...

PWInsider are reporting that WWE will hold off on uploading episodes of WCW Thunder onto the WWE Network until further notice.

In early-September, it was revealed that all 146 episodes of the secondary WCW show would be landing on the Network soon. Now, there's no solid timeline for Thunder's arrival, and PWInsider speculate that this is because of the ongoing legal issues between WWE and ex-WCW stars like Buff Bagwell and Raven.

Both men have been vocal about WWE not paying royalties to those appearing on the Network, so it's possible that this is why the show's upload has been delayed.

Old-school fans will have to wait for another classic program to show up on the Network too, because the same report stated Sunday Night Heat has also been delayed. Unlike Thunder though, there's no speculation as to why WWE's own show isn't forthcoming.

This may mean that WWE are simply holding off on content and deciding the best way to use it. When episodes of WCW Nitro launched on the Network, they appeared in blocks rather than all at once, so perhaps that will be WWE's strategy again.
