There's a splash of annoyance behind the scenes at WWE due to lack of focus on Raw's power couple.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that there's some "internal frustration" behind the scenes at WWE due to the recent booking for Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio. The power couple were previously one of the hottest acts on Raw, but some are concerned by the "lack of direction" for both since WrestleMania 42.

Indeed, Mysterio has worked exactly one match on the flagship since Las Vegas (a AAA Mega Title defence vs. Original El Grande Americano/Chad Gable on the 11 May episode), and he hasn't been heavily featured on the show more recently. Meanwhile, Morgan hasn't worked in-ring on Monday's since beating debutant Sol Ruca on the 20 April edition.

WrestleVotes/Fightful notes that her storyline with Stephanie Vaquer was set to continue, but that Vaquer's injury put a spanner in the works for that. Liv beat Stephanie at 'Mania to win the Women's World Title, but she hasn't defended it at all. The lack of a suitable backup feud for Morgan has caused some annoyance.

Similarly, Dominik seems a little directionless these days. It's believed that he'll begin to get a little more screen time as WWE splices in some AAA Triplemania promotion - Mysterio is featured front and centre of posters/branding for that 2-night event this September. So, as time races towards it, 'Dirty Dom' should get a few more matches and promos.

On Liv, Fightful did say that she's "expected to be more active on Raw regardless of Stephanie Vaquer's status". Again, it's pretty damning that WWE's creative team didn't have something they could pivot to for the Royal Rumble winner.
