WWE Elimination Chamber 2019: 6 Last-Minute Rumours You Need To Know
2. Nothing Important Happens
Yes, unbelievably, this is actually a rumour.
WWE, fundamentally, don't really know what to do with this show. It's very soon after The Rumble but still a fair way to WrestleMania and, unlike in years prior, most of the important matches are already locked in. There's nothing to do for the Universal Title, the Raw Women's Championship is playing out away from the ring, and for everything else is just... too soon.
Thus as reported by Cageside Seats, the rumour to end all rumours at this one, the one that pretty much renders them all pointless (except Nia and Tamina I guess), is that nothing of any real note happens. No returns, no changing titles, WWE rock up, put on an alright-at-best show, and move on.
Want proof? The go home Raw for this show featured Steph and HHH repeatedly talking about who'd face Ronda at WrestleMania. Not once mentioning that she actually had to get past Ruby Riott first. That's ether a swerve - hell of a swerve - or they just don't really care.
