WWE Elimination Chamber Results

The WWE Elimination Chamber three hour WWE Network special took place on Sunday in Corpus Christi, Texas. Here are results of everything that happened. During the Kickoff Show, Stardust beat Zack Ryder. Also during the Kickoff Show, Daniel Bryan was a guest on Miz TV. Bryan was there to plug his book. Miz acted like a jerk towards him, so Bryan brought out Macho Mandow and AxelMania, who teamed together to send Miz out of the ring. The main show began with the first time ever Tag Team Title match inside the Elimination Chamber. The New Day were allowed to have all three members in the match. They were also the last team to enter the match, which was apparently a favour from The Authority since New Day helped them on Smackdown. The New Day won the match to retain their titles by last eliminating the Prime Time Players. Nikki Bella retained the Divas Title over Paige and Naomi. It went about six minutes, so it's not like they were given more than the usual time for a PPV match. Kevin Owens defeated John Cena clean by pinfall with a Popup Powerbomb. This was the match of the night as well as one of the best matches of the year. It's so rare to see Cena lose clean that when he did, there were cheers for Owens even though he's a heel. After the match, Owens did a promo bragging about his win. Neville defeated Bo Dallas clean with the Red Arrow. In a backstage segment, Roman Reigns was told by Triple H that if he gets involved during the Ambrose/Rollins match then his buddy Ambrose would get disqualified. Ryback won the Elimination Chamber match for the vacant Intercontinental Title. Rusev was out of the match due to his ankle injury, so Mark Henry took his place. Sheamus dominated much of the match, but Ryback was able to get the win. Post match, Daniel Bryan presented Ryback with the IC Title, which is the first time Ryback won a title in WWE. Dean Ambrose defeated Seth Rollins by disqualification in the WWE Title match, so Rollins retained the WWE Title. It was a controversial finish because the first ref John Cone got bumped to the floor after Rollins pulled him in front of him when Ambrose hit a top rope move. Another ref, Chad Patton, showed up to count the Ambrose win after he hit Dirty Deeds. Ambrose was presented the WWE Title and held it up for the excited crowd. However, the original ref said that Rollins was disqualified for pulling the ref in front of him. After the match, Reigns came out to save Ambrose from an Authority attack. They cleaned house on The Authority and Ambrose left through the crowd with Reigns and the WWE Title. It will likely lead to Rollins vs. Ambrose for the WWE Title at Money in the Bank on June 14.
