Stephanie McMahon promised us 50 women.
"Over 50 women", she said, from WWE's past present and future will be on the card for Evolution. However a quick count reveals that we are currently on a mere 41. Agonisingly close to what was guaranteed, and it’s not like Steph would have fibbed to us.
That leaves us with a pretty sizeable hole to fill and, wouldn’t you just know it, there’s a pretty sizeable talent pool over in developmental. Bianca Belair, Candice LeRa, Lacey Evans, Taynara Conti, there are plenty of names in NXT who wouldn’t look out of place on Evolution.
Thus, according to Cageside Seats, we’ll be seeing them on the show. Possibly in additional matches or, in my personal opinion, they’re going to storm the Battle Royal in a bit of brand warfare like we got at WrestleMania.
