WWE Evolution: 8 Matches That Must Happen

5. Trish Stratus Vs. Carmella

Speaking of which, it's time Trish Stratus returned to WWE and shut Carmella's yap for good.

Listen to 'Mella's more memorable promos over the past few months and they're laced with the same unbearable self-aggrandisement. "I'm better than Trish Stratus, Lita and everyone else," she spits, all because Carmella knows it'll get under the skin of older fans who really don't believe she's at that level.

The story is a natural one then. Carmella, after losing the SmackDown Women's Title (to Becky Lynch, hopefully), starts mouthing off about how she's the biggest female star in WWE and says it's a travesty she doesn't have a match at Evolution. Then, in a fan-pleasing moment, Trish could return and set the table for a cross-generational match.

Stratus looked good during her five-minute spell in the women's Royal Rumble match this past January, and she wouldn't exactly need to work overtime against Carmella; in fact, giving 'Mella extended heat over Trish would be best, because it'd lead to a big pop when Stratus inevitably launched her comeback.
