WWE Extreme Rules: 16 Things You Might Have Missed
16. Most Prolific Weapon Of The Night: The Kendo Stick
It was somewhat of a vanilla night in terms of hardware. Whereas hardcore matches of previous years have mixed things up with leather straps, or trashcans, or gasoline, or fire extinguishers, the superstars of Extreme Rules 2015 played it conservative and stuck to the four basic food groups. Chair, Table, Kendo Stick, Steel Steps. (Discounting the Russian Chain itself) The steel steps only came into play twice. Tables fared better, but despite the crowd chanting for them for the majority of the night, they only came into play during the Last Man Standing match. Reigns and Show, to do their best to right that wrong, used them 7 times. Flesh met chair a total of 15 times throughout the night, despite Ambrose and Harper littering the ring with them. The grand winner however was the kendo stick, Extreme Rules' Mr Ubiquity. We heard the crack of the stick on flesh a whopping 24 times. Pity the poor ladder, however. Not a single one came into play.
