WWE Extreme Rules 2014: 10 Match Types We Most Want To See
9. Parking Lot Brawl
Say what you will about professional wrestling itself, but most everyone likes to watch a good ol' fashioned brawl from time to time. The Attitude Era was known for inputting a number of segments where there would be fights backstage, around the arena, and especially in the parking lot. While the fans at the arena do get deprived of being able to watch the match in the ring, having instead to look up at the giant TitanTron in order to catch the action, there would still be a lot of fun highlight spots to watch. If the wrestlers got creative enough, they could perform moves on top of cars and use a number of items laid out around the lot as weapons. It's not the safest type of match, and precautions would have to be taken into consideration beforehand, but it would certainly be a refreshing change of pace from having to watch the usual match that takes place in the ring. The parking lot brawl certainly wouldn't work as a main event match, but it could be good as a mid card bout pitting two wrestlers who have a severe grudge against one another. Christian and Sheamus currently having a feud going, and while they didn't get the chance to face each other at WrestleMania, they could get "one more match" at Extreme Rules in a match that allows them to do whatever they want and slug it out to their heart's content.
