WWE Extreme Rules 2016: 5 Near-Guarantees & 3 Possible Surprises
1. Near-Guarantee: Gallows And Anderson Will Turn On AJ Styles
Seeing as Finn Balor won't be debuting at Extreme Rules - he won't be there, give it up - the only logical step remaining is for Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson to turn on their 'Club' leader, AJ Styles.
The turn will be one done out of necessity. WWE has committed time to making AJ Styles look like a legitimate contender to their be-all-and-end-all, Roman Reigns, especially after he technically scored two victories over Reigns at Payback. To have Styles lose clean once again to Roman does nobody any good.
On the flip side, there is no damage done to the Phenomenal One's credibility if he falls victim to a 'surprise' change of heart from his long-time friends. Given the Extreme Rules stipulation at hand and ongoing wars between the Club and the Family (Reigns and the Usos), a turn could be easily carried out.
Not only do AJ, Gallows and Anderson get to move on to a separate feud, Reigns is able to begin a fresh rivalry and further gain credibility as genuine WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
