WWE Extreme Rules 2016: 8 Predictions You Need To Know

6. New Day Retains The Tag Team Titles, But The Vaudevillains Will Shine

At this point, you may as well let New Day reign for over a year, and maybe even have them break Demolition's unchallenged mark of sixteen months with the gold. The Vaudevillains feel like little more than placeholder foes for a still-over babyface act. The smarter money would be on Gallows and Anderson as New Day's more likely long-term challengers.

Still, if the Vaudevillains are merely stop-gap opponents on a secondary show, may as well see what they can do. If the rumors are true that the office is sour on them because of their gimmick, and relative lack of heat, it could be a short match. If not, I expect them to go all out to try and impress, a last-ditch effort of keeping some sort of push for themselves.
