It's fair to say that every pay-per-view brings something a little different, or at least offers the chance for those watching to learn something. The landscape of World Wrestling Entertainment is - for better or worse - one that's constantly evolving. Things move quickly nowadays, as any fan who has been watching over the past decade will be able to tell you. Therefore, it's sometimes difficult for some shows not to feel like they're simply killing time for something a little more grand. Fastlane definitely had more than an air of this about it, WWE officials are very much focused on ensuring WrestleMania 32 draws as many eyes as possible. It appears they feel a main event between Triple H and the hand-picked winner of the main event Triple Threat bout is the ideal way to cap off that particular show. There's a sense of having seen the conclusion of Fastlane before, but at least it's now established who is in the main event. This means that WWE can begin fully building towards that match, although this is admittedly something they have been doing for months anyway. Aside from who will contest the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at 'Mania, there were a few other things learned at Fastlane.
