We’re conflicted here.
Though this split-in-half design neatly reflected the symbiotic nature of Layla and Michelle McCool’s relationship, and reflected their disrespectful characters, it didn’t serve those characters; the aesthetic was much too ugly for an act that preyed on those they deemed ugly.
It doesn’t help, either, that the original design was as much of an afterthought as the division it represented: a bland canvas of gold with the word ‘WOMEN’S’ plastered across it.
