Tombstone Piledrivers, Chokeslams, and the Suicide Dives that almost ended The Deadman’s career…

Over the past 28 years, The Undertaker has competed at WrestleMania 26 times, skipping only the 1994 and 2000 editions due to injuries. The Deadman’s earlier matches were generally shorter, featured his greatest hits, and often finished with a single Tombstone Piledriver. They started to get “wilder” only from 2001 onwards as WWE began to focus on The Streak.

Some of The Undertaker’s craziest WrestleMania spots involved Triple H or Shawn Michaels. During their first-ever meeting at The Show of Shows, The American Badass threw The Game off a camera tower with a Chokeslam. In an era when receiving one Tombstone doesn’t signify the end, The Undertaker would use his finisher multiple times, including a unique “leaping” version to (temporarily) retire HBK.

At 6’10” and 300 pounds, it’s hard to imagine The Undertaker performing over-the-top-rope Suicide Dives without killing himself. While The Phenom has successfully hit the move safely on most occasions, Sim Snuka (disguised as a cameraman) and Triple H failed to properly catch him at WrestleMania 25 and XXVII respectively. The Undertaker survived both botches but has not performed a Suicide Dive since the latest incident…
