By 1999, the Attitude Era had reached peak lunacy and, quite frankly, nothing was more ludicrous than The Undertaker's gloriously evil Ministry of Darkness gimmick.
This was naturally taken to a whole new level for his grand entrance at that year's WrestleMania when he faced the Big Boss Man inside Hell in a Cell. Debuting a new, more demonic theme, alongside new wrestling gear, 'Taker sported a pointed goatee and a cape so spiky that even Batman would cry with jealousy. With Paul Bearer once again by his side, he marched down the aisle and entered the Devil's Playground looking like Lucifer himself.
An evil and unforgiving evolution of the Lord of Darkness persona, this was an Undertaker that didn't stick around long enough to receive the fanfare he deserved, but this ridiculously over-the-top entrance was a glimpse of the greatness it could have achieved.
