WWE Gives Karrion Kross MAJOR Downgrade On Main Event

Doomsday becomes a broken clock in the ThunderDome.

Karrion Kross' presentation was given a major downgrade for what was essentially the NXT Champion's main roster debut on this week's episode of WWE Main Event.

A since-deleted video of Kross' ring entrance made it to the internet on Thursday. WWE stripped way back on the theatrical elements of the NXT Champion's ring-walk, with the flashy lighting and other in-arena effects dialled down, reducing the big man to a straightforward march down the ramp.

Conspicuous by her absence was Scarlett, who has been an ever-present by Kross' side since he arrived in WWE. She has become a key component of Karrion's act, flanking him on his way to the ring and lip-syncing part of his entrance theme, though Kross was left to go it alone on Main Event.

Kross had time to throw up a few of his signature poses once he hit the ring, but that was it. Otherwise, a basic WWE 2K CAW entrance - which is a curious choice for a guy whose appeal largely revolves around his presentation and aura.

Karrion defeated Shelton Benjamin in what has been described as a potential tryout match on Main Event. Scarlett, meanwhile, has been linked with a tryout of her own.
