WWE Hall-Of-Famer Signs "Multi-Show" Deal With AEW

This former WCW icon could make a major impact at ALL OUT.

Shawn Spears Tully Blanchard
AEW

Wrestling legend Tully Blanchard has signed what All Elite Wrestling's official release has described as a "multi-show agreement" with the promotion and Shawn Spears, his new managerial client.

This comes after Blanchard appeared on the first episode of The Road to All Out on Wednesday evening. Fightful had reported earlier in the day that Spears was to be given a manager in AEW, and this was proved correct as the former Tye Dillinger introduced Tully as "the ace up his sleeve" in his battle with Cody at ALL OUT.

Blanchard's name shouldn't need much of an introduction to anyone who's followed pro-wrestling for any length of time. A founding member of the Four Horsemen, he is regarded as one of the cunning, devious, and effective heels the sport has ever seen, and counts various NWA Tag Team, Television, and United States Champions reigns amongst his biggest honours, along with a WWE Hall Of Fame induction in 2012.

More important, Blanchard was one of Dusty Rhodes' greatest ever rivals. Another awesome wrinkle to an ALL OUT storyline that was already informed by years upon years of history.

Cody's response promo, whenever it comes, should be an absolute ripper.
