There will be some disappointed that the WWE Cruiserweight Title has changed hands already. Having only won the belt on September 14 (beating Gran Metalik in the final round of the WWE Network only Cruiserweight Classic), T.J Perkins was staring at the lights come Hell In A Cell.

Admittedly, it's hard to describe Perkins dropping the gold as awesome, and the title switch probably wouldn't be included were it not for the fact that Brian Kendrick was the one chosen to triumph. A wrestler who hasn't always been treated fairly by WWE, Kendrick now has a new lease of life at age 37.

Something about that is endearing, few can claim the guy doesn't deserve the chance to show what he can do. Undoubtedly the top heel WWE have amongst the Cruiserweight crew, Kendrick can now engage in entertaining title defences against Perkins and some fresh faces on Monday Night Raw.

The fact Brian effectively cheated his so-called buddy out of the belt by feigning injury is equally as fantastic. Nobody could have predicted that Kendrick would grab WWE gold in 2016.
