WWE Hell In A Cell 2016: 10 Shocks That Could Happen

Wouldn't it be something if Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks was the main event after all?!

On social media, Raw General Manager Mick Foley was quick to apologise when he seemed to make it clear that Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte Flair would headline Hell In A Cell. Backtracking on his original post, Foley then stated that the Raw Women's Title bout would be just one of the many 'main events' on the pay-per-view.

If WWE are serious about presenting their female revolution in the best light, there are certainly worse ways to go about it than giving Sasha and Charlotte the main spotlight on the show. Nonetheless, such a move would have to be considered a shock, especially considering the fact that the WWE Universal Title is also on the line that evening.

Other surprises may lay in store at Hell In A Cell. It's hard to imagine the card taking place without at least one head-turning shock.

Title changes, how the actual card itself will be laid out, one mighty return to set up a future bout, and even willing losers: Let's analyse the Hell In A Cell landscape and see what could raise eyebrows come Sunday...

10. Braun Strowman Destroys The Cruiserweights & Demands Sami Zayn

Right now, there's a 6-man tag-team match set up for the Hell In A Cell Kickoff show. Strictly to showcase the Cruiserweight division, Cedric Alexander will team up with Sin Cara and Lince Dorado to face the team of Ariya Daivari, Drew Gulak, and Tony Nese. The match could go off without a hitch, or it could not actually take place at all.

As much as it would suck for WWE not to give these men some minutes to work with, there's a slight chance one Braun Strowman could have other things in mind. Booked as a near-unstoppable wrecking machine, Strowman is having issues with Sami Zayn at the moment.

A prospective match between those men is noticeably absent from the pay-per-view card. Does that mean Strowman could feasibly interrupt the Cruiserweight 6-man and call out Zayn? It's hardly an impossible scenario.

This would do nothing for the guys who are involved in the actual match itself, that's for certain. Still, it's not outside the realms of possibility that WWE could book things this way.
