6. The Pre-Show

We start with the pre-show because that is, after all, what pre-shows are for. WWE hasn't been as trigger happy in 2018 with adding an extra match on the night but that hasn't stopped some very sensible speculation about it. Hell In A Cell is, after all, missing some big names.

The predominant suggestion was that Shinsuke Nakamura would be defending his United States Championship on the kickoff, with pretty much every spare SmackDown superstar linked with facing him. However talk on that has cooled significantly in recent days so he's unlikely to make an appearance.

Instead the suggestion is that it could actually be Andrade 'Cien' Almas added to the undercard, with R-Truth his likely opponent. As interesting as this is, it does highlight the issue that Almas is yet to appear on a PPV beyond the pre-show, despite being called up over five months ago.

The additional rumours that Vince has picked him as next year's Royal Rumble winner seem fanciful in the extreme at present.

Rumour Rating: Possibly, if not quite probably.
