WWE Hell In A Cell 2019: 10 Things That Must Happen

'Burn It Down' and start over again is the only way out of this booking...

"I think if actors are successful at one thing, they paint themselves into a corner sometimes. Where's the fun in that?"

Those wise words, aimed at his fellow thespians, come from the mind of one Peter Dinklage, but the Game Of Thrones star could easily have been talking about WWE's creative team. After all, the braintrust have made it difficult to book an out at this Sunday's Hell In A Cell pay-per-view.

The entire show is snake-bit anyway. It falls right in the middle of a rather important time for WWE ratings-wise, and that means HIAC is a bit of an afterthought before it even happens. The card needs results regardless, and the right ones. There's no use in bleating now WWE have backed themselves against the wall willingly.

It says everything that HIAC only had three matches to toot its horn about mid-week. SmackDown's debut on FOX, NXT's continuation on USA Network and fending off AEW is blatantly more important to WWE. Even so, the fact that this pay-per-view takes place inside Sacramento's Golden 1 Center might be a sign.

Do it right, and WWE could have their own golden one. It's not like they have much choice anyway...
