WWE Hell In A Cell 2020: 10 Most Likely Outcomes
1. The Event Will Ultimately Exceed Expectations
Your writer hates to say this - especially because Hell In A Cell was once WWE's most intriguing concept - but expectations for the 2020 installment of the event are not high. And, in all honesty, why would they be?
A PPV hampered by years of watering down its barbaric concept beyond recognition, it now lives in infamy because of the notoriously awful conclusions of the previous two installments. And yet, that could be exactly what helps this year's event stand out.
WWE has been enjoying a surprisingly solid run of PPVs as of late. They haven't been perfect but they have been far more consistent than the product's weekly TV shows are. There's a strong chance they could continue that streak of good luck moving forward and, given that two of its three most engaging storylines will likely culminate inside the cell (and the third will take things to the next level in the structure), Hell In A Cell 2020 will undoubtedly end up defying expectations.
Shouldn't be too hard, right? All is has to do is, well, not what it did the past two years.
